jordana ~ pretty in pink

Like the classic 2006 movie Keeping Up with The Steins, there’s nothing quite like a ‘Bat’ in the backyard. It’s simple, it’s intimate, and it just happens to be what one does in a global pandemic.

Our Guest of Honor (GOH) actually became a Bat Mitzvah in a private service a few months prior but could not have a celebration due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, this vicarious teen was ready to party and did not want to wait any longer.

So, she made a list of her besties and loved ones and we went right to work to plan the special day. We decided to incorporate all her favorite things starting with the color pink.

We used a pop of pink with accents of gold throughout our backyard canvas, added plenty of twinkle and bistro lighting, and tossed in a bit of shabby chic features for a true “girly” look.

The vintage vibe continued with all the details on our tablescape for the magnificent dessert display, South African candy bar, and pop-up photo area.

It was a beautiful South Florida evening where we did our best to only spread love and not germs.
