jordan & jeff – fairy tales do come true

Jordan and Jeff began their storybook romance in college at the University of Central Florida. As much as they would have loved to be married right near the “infamous mouse’s house”, they came home to say their vows in front of all their family and friends.

The ceremony and reception were held at The Venue Fort Lauderdale. South Florida’s highest rated wedding venue certainly made this adorable couple’s dreams come true. The Crystal Ballroom has glamour, elegance, and impeccable design plus state-of-the-art lighting and exceptional sound and effects. The two-story facility even boasts a grand glass staircase guaranteed to make any girl feel like a Disney princess.

Keeping with a modern glam vibe, the bride carried a French style bouquet featuring classic ivory and white roses hand-wrapped with special lace and a sentimental locket. The bridesmaids carried a smaller version which contrasted flawlessly with their black designer gowns.

The center of the space showcased a magnificent LED illuminated acrylic chuppah created with a luxuriant floral hedge of hydrangeas, roses, baby spray roses, matthiola, mini calla lilies, and lisianthus which was completed with a crystal chandelier. Tall glass cylinder vases in varying heights lined the aisle with floating candles which added to the fairy tale setting.

From market gathered bunches and vertical arrangements set atop acrylic boxes to a sizable set of pave’ designed bud vases, the variety of coordinating centerpieces presented all of the florals in a most unique way. The chuppah was a permanent fixture for the newlyweds to dine underneath for the duration of the reception. The four-post structure was flanked by Kings tables for the royal bridal party.

Guests indulged in the fun and festive cuisine, but especially loved the caterer’s signature desserts and the surprise treat from another famous Mickey.  A large floral blossom adorned the wedding cake which was topped with the iconic mice. The gorgeous fall wedding was absolutely the most “magical” and “happiest place on earth”.
